    Endeavor Energy Resources, LP is a privately held company with over 300,000 net acres in the Midland Basin, North America’s most active basin.  Endeavor’s highly strategic and desired asset base is unable to be replicated in today’s times and is the cornerstone for the company’s rapid growth.  Endeavor has been a successful vertical driller in the Permian Basin, and surrounding basins, over the last 40 years but recently refocused its strategy on a horizontal drilling program.  The company is rapidly growing and evolving as it works towards its mission of becoming a top tier Midland Basin horizontal operator.  To date, Endeavor has drilled approximately 120 horizontal wells and currently has 10 rigs dedicated to the horizontal program. The work environment is informal, innovative and fast paced.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    The Senior Completions Engineer is responsible for developing plans to complete horizontal wells within a fast growing company. This position will be responsible for developing the design, monitoring the installation of well completions and devising methods to improve well performance. Requires working closely with other technical departments in relation to drilling wells in new and existing fields, tracking well performance and continually optimizing well frac design.

    • Review equipment and service bids and select the appropriate vendor for the job.
    • Prepare AFE's and recommend stimulation programs
    • Manage the frac schedule and ensure efficient well cycle time
    • Plan and generate procedures for all completion operations and well intervention work.
    • Plan service company involvement and personnel requirements
    • Troubleshoot well and completion related problems
    • Work closely with Production and Operations to track well performance and continually optimize well frac design
    • Track costs for all completions jobs and provide technical and cost assessment reviews when necessary.

    Qualifications

     

    • BS Degree in Engineering required
    • Minimum of 10+ years of petroleum/completions engineering experience including multiple years supporting conventional & unconventional assets required
    • Minimum of 4+ years horizontal slick water frac experience preferred
    • Working experience within the Permian Basin preferred
    • Experience evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment to achieve completion objectives and optimizing completion/workover designs and operations required
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and willingness to learn various other software applications required
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills preferred
