    Endeavor Energy Resources, LP is a privately held company with over 300,000 net acres in the Midland Basin, North America’s most active basin.  Endeavor’s highly strategic and desired asset base is unable to be replicated in today’s times and is the cornerstone for the company’s rapid growth.  Endeavor has been a successful vertical driller in the Permian Basin, and surrounding basins, over the last 40 years but recently refocused its strategy on a horizontal drilling program.  The company is rapidly growing and evolving as it works towards its mission of becoming a top tier Midland Basin horizontal operator.  To date, Endeavor has drilled approximately 120 horizontal wells and currently has 10 rigs dedicated to the horizontal program. The work environment is informal, innovative and fast paced.

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for supporting Geologists with data analytics. Maintains large data sets, performs complex data extraction from databases to create maps, cross-sections and presentation materials. Analyzes and interprets data and reports trends and variances. Uses database and mapping software skills to aid Geologists in decision making

    • Use data mapping software to map development plans for base properties
    • Create geologic maps of productive and potentially productive formations on base properties; maps will include structure, gross and net isopachs, net pay, phiH, and SophiH maps.
    • Involved in geological operation aspects of drilling wells, creating geologic prognosis, and staking wells.
    • Responsible for building and maintaining geologic databases of interpretations.
    • Gather information from multiple sources and combine in a format that is easily interpreted and understood.
    • Reports to management data trends and variances to aid in decision making.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of ten (10) years Geologist experience required
    • Permian Basin asset experience preferred
    • PETRA experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geoscience required
    • Master degree in Geology preferred
