    Endeavor Energy Resources, LP is a privately held company with over 300,000 net acres in the Midland Basin, North America’s most active basin.  Endeavor’s highly strategic and desired asset base is unable to be replicated in today’s times and is the cornerstone for the company’s rapid growth.  Endeavor has been a successful vertical driller in the Permian Basin, and surrounding basins, over the last 40 years but recently refocused its strategy on a horizontal drilling program.  The company is rapidly growing and evolving as it works towards its mission of becoming a top tier Midland Basin horizontal operator.  To date, Endeavor has drilled approximately 120 horizontal wells and currently has 10 rigs dedicated to the horizontal program. The work environment is informal, innovative and fast paced.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for acquiring new property, consolidating Endeavor’s current land position through trades, and clearing title by managing individual brokers and working with title attorneys. A Mineral Landman will work to ensure Endeavor’s right to drill and produce oil and gas from its extensive leasehold position and work within a multi-discipline team to accomplish goals within an approved budget.

    • Responsible for land work in one or more geographic areas.
    • Negotiates and oversees preparation of land related documents including, but not limited to Communization Agreements, Pooling Agreements, JOA’s, Production Sharing Agreements and their respective Exhibits, Oil and Gas Leases and Term Assignments.
    • Requests drilling title opinions and obtains required tittle curative within a given time frame.
    • Supervise and coordinate activity of field brokers.
    • Review and approve all land related invoices
    • Will be tasked with handling special projects requiring advanced knowledge.
    • Works closely with Legal Department on non-standard oil and gas agreements.
    • Assembles data in connection with rental obligations and expiration calendars.
    • Mentor to entry level Landmen and/or interns.
    • Oversees the work of one or more land support staff.
    • Lease maintenance work (i.e. Cessation of Production Reports, Continuous Development Obligations, etc.)

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience as an in-house Mineral Landman, or similar role
    • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Good Driving Record
