    Endeavor Energy Resources, LP is a privately held company with over 300,000 net acres in the Midland Basin, North America’s most active basin.  Endeavor’s highly strategic and desired asset base is unable to be replicated in today’s times and is the cornerstone for the company’s rapid growth.  Endeavor has been a successful vertical driller in the Permian Basin, and surrounding basins, over the last 40 years but recently refocused its strategy on a horizontal drilling program.  The company is rapidly growing and evolving as it works towards its mission of becoming a top tier Midland Basin horizontal operator.  To date, Endeavor has drilled approximately 120 horizontal wells and currently has 10 rigs dedicated to the horizontal program. The work environment is informal, innovative and fast paced.


    Lead Compressor Lead Lease Operators

    • Safety
      • Make sure everything is done in a safe and professional manner.
      • JSA’s
      • LOTO
      • Attend all safety meetings
      • Keep all safety training up to date
    • Winterization
      • Thoroughly check heat trace and insulation(biannual inspection)
      • Keep track of what’s been insulated and what still needs to be done
      • Be able to diagnose and safely take care of ice plugs
      • Make sure methanol is installed
      • Make sure wind walls are up in the winter and down in the summer(biannual inspection)
      • Work with electricians, chemical companies, and insulators in a professional manner
    • Check suction PR valve and motor control valve(biannually)
    • Complete and pass the Ariel online basic training class
    • Learn the location and lay out of each unit
    • Training
      • You must be able to train Rotators and pumpers
    • Check coolers to see if they need to be cleaned(biannually)
    • On Call and hours
      • You will be scheduled for 10 hours a day but are expected more if needed
      • You will be on call on a rotation. When it is your turn you will be on call for the week prior to your weekend.
      • You must have good communication skills to help with problems over the phone or go to the field if needed.
    • Set new compressors
      • You must represent EER in a professional way.
      • You must make sure the lift is done safely
      • Fill out a JSA
      • You must make sure compressors are set up in a timely manner
      • Make sure everything is tied in correctly
      • Make sure methanol, heat trace and insulation is installed
    • Trouble shooting
      • You must be able to trouble shoot the compressors, injection meters, and some battery problems
      • Professionally work with rotators, lease operators, foremen, superintendents, and engineers
    • Perform special projects as needed
    • Alarms
      • Keep up with down compressors and help rotators as needed
      • If a compressor goes down on the same issue you must be able to help trouble shoot it
    • New start ups
      • Work with compressor companies to set up new start ups
      • Check for leaks with a gas sniffer
      • Work with the production group, projects group, and gas techs to make sure everything is working properly
    • Initial injection and Purging
      • Follow API standards
      • Work with production, projects, and engineers to get the compressor pocketed right and proper injection rates
      • Check for any leaks (visually and with a sniffer)
      • Walk all lines out (suction, discharge, and dump lines) and make sure all valves are properly open and closed
      • Set Recycle valves and injection meter runs


    • Must have advanced working knowledge of compressor and surface equipment affiliated with compressors.
    • Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience as a lease operator
    • Proven ability to mentor and lead less experienced lease operators
    • High School Diploma required
    • Maintain valid Texas driver’s license
    • Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
