    Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of payroll accounting, distribution and allocation of salaries to each business unit
    • Manage all aspects of insurance accounting allocations and accruals
    • Verify accruals for worker comp and group insurance are adequate to cover claims payments
    • Prepare information for the next year insurance based on estimated payroll
    • Provide information for related audits and review audits for approval
    • Review and/or reconcile GL accounts associated with Payroll and Insurance
    • Update management on changes to payroll and benefit accruals
    • Approve wire transfer requests
    • Supervise small staff

    Qualifications

    • BS in Accounting required
    • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience required
    • Prior experience in a similor role
    • Upstream oil and gas industry accounting experience strongly preferred
