    To enable Endeavor to achieve the mission of a top tier Midland Basin horizontal operator, processes and tools for Health, Safety and Environment systems must be effective and well understood within the organization.  They must be efficiently delivered, and continuously improved as we learn and grow as an organization.  HSE owns these processes and tools, and supports and coaches operations in their role of owning and controlling the risks.  Key to effectiveness is the integration of our HSE systems with operational processes in simple to use and efficient methods.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifying appropriate, risk-prioritized HSE processes and tools that will identify and control operational HSE risk.  Initial primary focus in Safety, which may change over time based on risk profile
    • Development and maintenance, in collaboration with operations, HSE, engineering and support groups, of simple to use and effective processes and tools
    • Development and implementation of plans to integrate and roll-out revisions
    • Support to the training function in identification of appropriate training needs and content for the systems
    • Development and maintenance of tools used by operations and others to assure systems are working as intended and learnings are integrated
    • Being innovative in moving from historical paper-based systems to more modern, user-friendly and efficient processes and tools
    • Developing communications materials showing status of improvements for leadership audiences
    • Stay current with new requirements and industry best practice for integration as appropriate

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated results in defining, developing, coaching implementation and continuous improvement of broad HSE processes and tools
    • Familiarity with risk identification and assessment tools, and use of such tools to prioritize activity
    • 10 + years of practical work experience in HSE roles
    • Oil and Gas Production, and Drilling and Completions support experience
    • Demonstrated collaboration with and influential leadership of operational and support groups
    • Microsoft Office suite capabilities
    • Strong writing and communication skills; ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
    • Self-starter and motivated to deliver in dynamic, challenging organization
    • High school diploma or GED required.  Relevant college degree and certifications are considered a plus
