    • Provide technical and administrative support to the land department
    • Serve as liaison between the land and land administration departments to ensure accuracy of land records system
    • Involved in preparing offers to third parties, including lease offers, acreage trade or purchase proposals, farm-out agreements, etc.
    • Assist in preparation of various contracts and legal documents including assignments, surface agreements, farm-out agreements, joint operating agreements, oil and gas leases, pooling agreements, production sharing agreements, etc.
    • Prepare a variety of balloting letters to third parties for new drill wells, work-overs, re-completions, P&A’s, etc. and track and document third party elections
    • Perform land ownership research using various digital sources both internal and external
    • Coordinate with team members with setting up contract, property and lease files
    • Possess adequate working knowledge of land including calculations of WI and NRI on both operated and non-operated properties
    • Adequate and working knowledge of leases and division orders to interface with land administration personnel and handle difficult land owner questions
    • Initiate the routing of AFE’s for wells, operations and other budget related items


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required
    • Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience as a land technician or coordinator (or similar role) required
    • Ability to work in a fast paced organization and multi-task
    • Strong communication and team work skills
    • Familiarity in the Permian Basin preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, but not required
