    Endeavor Energy Resources wholly owned Energy Services division was created with a mission to reduce the company’s operating costs.  It is part a strategic group of service companies that are focused on providing the highest level of service, safety, and technology at the lowest cost.  The Energy Services division provides trucking, roustabout, construction, well service, wireline and vehicle maintenance services.  Electrical Maintenance and Construction ("EMC") is part of the Energy Services division and specializes in the design, installation and maintenance of commercial and oil field electrical projects.  The experienced team at EMC is trained in a diverse set of electrical projects including: distribution pole line, well installations, disposal systems, oil batteries, compression, lact units, VRU's and automation systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Journeyman Electrician in installing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems for clients as assigned.
    • Help install power supply wiring and conduit such as EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, and cable tray
    • Assist with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
    • Help install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, lighting, and power supplies
    • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
    • Trace out short circuits in wiring, using a test meter
    • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections using hand tools
    • Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, taps, saws and punches
    • Clean and maintain work area and washing parts
    • Maintain tools, vehicle, equipment, and keeping parts and supplies in order

    Qualifications

    • Current Texas Apprentice License
    • Minimum 1 year electrical experience (2+ years of electrical experience preferred)
    • Previous oilfield experience and knowledge is preferred
    • High School Diploma/GED or higher level
    • Basic computer knowledge (windows, email, internet, etc.)
    • Good communication skills
    • Basic math skills
    • Reading skills (basic instructional and technical information) -OR-
    • An acceptable combination of education and experience
    • Must have clean driving record
