    Responsibilities

    • Conduct audits of internal processes as requested
    • Utilize effective audit techniques and documentation skills to adequately support audit findings
    • Prepare audit reports and communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
    • Assist with SOX compliance efforts including walkthroughs, control testing, remediation, and reporting
    • Assist process owners in remediation of SOX control deficiencies and monitor past deficiencies to ensure remediation efforts are effective
    • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
    • Certification as CPA or CIA highly preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
    • Previous internal audit, financial reporting, or SOX experience is a plus
    • Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, COSO, PCAOB, and SOX requirements required
    • Ability to exercise sound discretion and judgement is required
    • Strong ethics and high level of personal and professional integrity is required
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Enertia highly preferred; ACL/IDEA a plus
