    Endeavor Energy Resources, LP is a privately held company with over 300,000 net acres in the Midland Basin, North America’s most active basin.  Endeavor’s highly strategic and desired asset base is unable to be replicated in today’s times and is the cornerstone for the company’s rapid growth.  Endeavor has been a successful vertical driller in the Permian Basin, and surrounding basins, over the last 40 years but recently refocused its strategy on a horizontal drilling program.  The company is rapidly growing and evolving as it works towards its mission of becoming a top tier Midland Basin horizontal operator.  To date, Endeavor has drilled approximately 120 horizontal wells and currently has 10 rigs dedicated to the horizontal program. The work environment is informal, innovative and fast paced.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for cost saving initiatives, such as evaluating the cost of purchasing from various vendors to determine best cost-effective price
    • Prepare bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of supplies, materials and equipment
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors
    • Communicate to all applicable parties as necessary regarding all sourcing needs
    •  Assist with vender purchasing issues or when variances arise
    • Conduct interviews and correspond with vendors in order to keep informed of new products, market conditions and trends
    • Assist all departments in determining purchasing needs and specifications
    • Correspond with department heads to ensure all requirements are handled expeditiously
    • Maintain records of purchase price information for both open market and contract purchases
    • Revise these records as market conditions change, and obtain new quotations on open market purchases
    • Analyze purchasing trends to determine whether procurement policy could be adjusted
    • Other related tasks and projects as assigned by manager

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
    • Experience in supply chain and/or procurement required
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Experience in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
