Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of all Human Resources services, policies and programs for our Energy Services divisions
  • Work closely with leadership, employees and the HR team to execute business objectives in the most efficient manner
  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Serve as an advisor to management for performance management regarding competencies, employee performance, company policy and legal compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures Company compliance
  • Responsible for employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviews
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Works closely with management and employees to maintain a high level of employee engagement, increase productivity and maximize employee retention
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the Human Resources Manager on personnel matters
  • Answers any questions and/or requests by EEOC, DOL and other governmental agencies, including employee complaints
  • Partner with HR colleagues to ensure consistency in program frameworks and implementation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ progressive human resources experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • SHRM certification preferred, but not required
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proven capability to multi-task, manage a fluctuating workload and work independently with little to no supervision
  • Practical, well-rounded knowledge in the major human resources areas and in government compliance
  • Ability to communicate and speak clearly (bilingual is preferred, but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to employees, management and outside contacts
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office and HRIS Systems)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including professional telephone etiquette
