This role is charged with the information technology transformation agenda in the oil & gas operations organization. This role will provide senior level application support to all end users, employees, clients, and contractors.  Collaborates with the IT Applications team to translate business requirements into effective and efficient application support solutions. The successful applicant will display strong leadership, communication, and relationship building skills.



  • Provide onsite and remote end-user client application support
  • Investigate and troubleshoot applications
  • Test application updates, upgrades and compatibility
  • Utilize Service Desk ticketing system to create, assign, triage and determine escalation path
  • Maintain good relationships and broad general knowledge across multiple business and IT functions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry preferably in a business operations role or IT application support role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Enertia software
  • Experience with project management and Agile project management techniques
  • Strong analytical skills and oil and gas business acumen
  • 2 years of impeccable customer service experience
  • 2 years of help desk or technical support experience
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a wide set of responsibilities across the team
