  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Serve as an advisor to management for performance management regarding competencies, employee performance, company policy and legal compliance
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures Company compliance
  • Responsible for employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviews
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Works closely with management and employees to maintain a high level of employee engagement, increase productivity and maximize employee retention
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the Human Resources Director on personnel matters
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Answers any questions and/or requests by EEOC, DOL and other governmental agencies, including employee complaints
  • Supervise and direct payroll and generalist team members to ensure consistency in program frameworks and implementation
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Minimum of 4 years HR experience and 2 years supervisory experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, possessing an approachable demeanor
  • Proven capability to multi-task, and work independently with strong problem solving skills
  • Practical, well-rounded knowledge in the major human resources areas and in government compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to employees, management and outside contacts
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office and HRIS systems)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including professional telephone etiquette
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • SHRM certification preferred, but not required
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred, but not required
