Responsibilities

This role is charged with the information technology transformation agenda in the oil & gas operations organization. This role will be providing entry level technical and support related assistance for computer systems, hardware and software to all end users, employees, clients, and contractors.  This role may train users on basic system and computer functions to resolve issues.  The successful applicant will display strong communication and relationship building skills.

  • Provide onsite and remote end-user client support
  • Maintain, investigate, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Responsible for PC’s, printers, and related equipment
  • Maintain user PCs, including upgrades, and configuration changes as needed
  • Utilize service desk ticketing system to create, assign, triage, and determine escalation path
  • Perform tasks as assigned for new user onboarding process
  • Maintain inventory tracking for all equipment
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • Entry level help desk or technical support experience
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a wide set of responsibilities across the team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
