Responsibilities

HSE Systems Technician will provide direct assistance to the HSE Systems Supervisor administering office-based records, databases, programs, and communication tools.
 
Major Functions and Scope:

  • System administrator for office-based records, informational databases and computer-based applications
  • Assist with managing ongoing HSE Systems projects
  • Prepare and maintain project timelines of ongoing projects
  • Support inter-departmental HSE Supervisors and Claims Management Specialist by maintaining communication tools such as, presentations, publications, and spreadsheets for safety communications and safety metric reporting
  • Support HSE Systems Department as Cornerstone administrator
  • Support HSE Department as Vector Solutions administrator

Qualifications

  • Required Skills and Experience:

    • College degree (Business Administration) preferred
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience preferred
    • Ability to effectively communicate information to co-worker’s and management.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and problem solve quickly
    • Must have good communication skills and the ability to adapt, as the environment is fast paced and technically demanding

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of database management preferred
    • Technical writing experience
    • Proficiency and ability to champion use of:
    • Vector Solutions incident tracking and safety management database
    • Asana Project management tool
    • MS PowerPoint
    • MS Excel spreadsheets
    • Document repository and control
    • QuickBase workflow management application
    • Spotfire data visualization tool
    • Cornerstone Learning Management System
    • Experience in project management
